NOW 6: Battles for the Band 3
New Ohio Wrestling and The Groveport Madison Band presented NOW 6: Battles for the Band 3

New Ohio Wrestling (NOW) was proud to announce its 3rd annual fundraiser for the Groveport Madison Marching Band on Saturday February 10th, 2018 at the Groveport Madison High School.

Doors opened at 6PM and Bell Time was 7 PM.

Here is the results for NOW 6: Battles for the Band 3

-
Trick Nasty W/ Ripper Blackhart v “The White Trash Maniac” Ron Mathis
Trick Nasty was supposed to wrestle Daniel Winchester, but a sudden case of the flu kept Winchester from competing. In pure Ripper Blackhart fashion, Ripper gets on the mic and taunts the crowd, and the Groveport Band, and issues an open challenge to anyone in the back.
Out comes Ron Mathis to the dismay of Ripper and Trik. In the end, it was a Ripper Blackhart distraction to an illegal low blow on Mathis from Nasty. This lead to a Spin Out Face Buster by Nasty for the pinfall.

-
"The Stretcher" James Avery v “The Handlebar Haberdasher” Marion Fontaine
Two wily ring veterans in this one that was very entertaining, as with most of Fontaine’s matches. During the match, Onyx comes out of nowhere and hits Avery with a massive spear which gives The Handlebar Haberdasher the win. The Onyx situation has to stem from the attack on him from The Winners on NOW 5.

-
“True Grit” Bruce Grey v "Sweet Dream" Sless Tayor
A fantastic high flying match. This match could have went either way with Sless getting the pin when he reverses a sunset flip from Bruce Grey.

-
"Agent Orange" Juice Jennings v "The Baddest Man Alive" Aaron Williams - No DQ/No Countout
A much anticipated rematch from their time limit draw from NOW 5. This match started on the outside and went all over Groveport Madison High School. A back and forth brutal match up that ended with “The Baddest Man Alive” comes off the top rope with a double stomp through the chest of Juice Jennings and a wooden table.

-
"The Professional" Brandon Fields v “The Half Pint Punk” Eric Smalls
One of the more unique matches in New Ohio Wrestling history turned out to be one of the biggest upsets in New Ohio Wrestling history. Brandon Fields control the majority of the match, as expected, but gets the shock of his life as ‘The Half Pint Punk” catches Fields by surprise with a moonsault, after Onyx makes another appearance during one of The Winners matches and plants Brandon Fields with a choke slam.

-
“Unchained” Brandon Day v "Darkstar" Matt Taylor
Another main event caliber match anywhere you go. This was a hard hitting, action packed match that ended with “The Darkstar” hitting Day with the Springboard TKO onto Brandon’s chain.

MAIN EVENT
-
"No Shame" Jimmy Shane & Robby “Super” Starr v "The Black Superman" Onyx – 2-on-1 Handicap
More or less a revenge match that was demanded by Onyx after he was attacked by The Winners after his match at NOW 5. Even at 2 on 1, The Winners came into this match as the underdogs.
Onyx seemed to be on the verge of victory until the other members of The Winners come out and attack him from behind causing the DQ. During the beat down of Onyx, Eric Smalls, Sless Taylor, and Marion Fontaine come out to help Onyx and end up fighting The Winners all the way to the back locker room.
